Ok, so we're not regulars - we live out of town (out of country to be precise). We usually pop to the Poacher's Pocket with our friends when we visit them. It has a wonderful atmosphere - i.e. no wide screen TVs, no pool tables, and no music. The regulars are hugely welcoming to 'newbies', and the food is great. Just what a country pub should be. Our pals take their little jack russell there and he always gets something nice from the kitchen. What more could you want?
