We took over the Kings Head in November 2001 and maintained the no-smoking policy initiated by our predecessors, with some reservation I hasten to add. However, the past year and a bit have put any fears to rest with very positive response to the non-smoking policy. We are situated in a village which can cater to all tastes, two other pubs and a very good restuarant, so by maintaining a non-smoking policy we are providing a choice that was not previously available, and if people would prefer to smoke then the Griffin or the Blois are there to satisy their needs.

We serve home-made meals Monday to Saturday lunch and evening and Sunday lunch at present - soon to be Monday to Sunday lunch and evening, and welcome all to enjoy a freshly prepared meal (to order). We also offer a take away fish and chip menu for locals and visitors alike.
